A relaxed Sunday session where kids can learn and play the Pokémon Trading Card Game at the shop. No experience needed and no cards needed, we can provide decks to play with.
This is not a drop off session. A parent or carer stays for the whole hour. The tables are for the kids, and we set out separate seating for grown ups in the same room, so you are on hand to help whenever your child needs it.
Before your first session
Every player needs a Pokémon Player ID
How to set one up: create a free Pokémon Trainer Club account for your child at pokemon.com, then request a Play! Pokémon Player ID from the account settings. Accounts for younger players are set up by a parent or guardian. Bring the ID with you on the day.
Not sure how? A member of staff can help you set it up in the shop ahead of the event.

One ticket per child. The grown up who stays with them does not need a ticket. We may take photos during sessions for promotional use. If you would prefer your child not to be photographed, please let a member of staff know.
Questions from parents
Do I need to stay for the session?
Yes. A parent or carer must stay at the shop for the whole hour. Sunday Kids Club is not a drop off or childcare service.
Do I have to play as well?
No, the tables are for the kids. We set out separate seating for grown ups in the same room, and you are welcome to help your child whenever they need it.
My child has never played. Is that OK?
Yes, no experience is needed. We will help them learn the basics as they play.
Do they need their own cards?
No. We can lend a deck for the session. If they have their own deck, they are welcome to bring it.
Does my child need a Player ID?
Yes, every player needs a Play! Pokémon Player ID. Create a free Pokémon Trainer Club account for your child at pokemon.com, then request a Player ID from the account settings and bring it with you on the day. If you get stuck, a member of staff can help you set it up in the shop ahead of the event.
What ages is it for?
7 to 14.
Does the grown up need a ticket?
No. One ticket per child. The grown up who stays with them does not need one.
Can I bring more than one child?
Yes. Each child who plays needs their own ticket, and one grown up can stay with more than one child.
Will photos be taken?
We may take photos during sessions for promotional use. If you would prefer your child not to be photographed, please let a member of staff know.
Can I move our ticket to another week?
Yes, with at least 48 hours notice. Email us with your order number and the Sunday you want to move to.
