Disney Lorcana nights

Casual Swiss rounds every Monday at our New Malden shop, with a booster for everyone who plays. Sixteen seats a night, so booking ahead is the way in.

Tickets go up a month at a time. If the date you want is sold out, message us and we will add you to the reserve list for that night.

What your £10 covers

  • Your seat and pairings for the night
  • A booster pack for every player. The set varies week to week, depending on what we can get

What to bring

  • A legal deck, at least 60 cards, no more than 4 copies of any card, one or two ink colours. Sleeved, please
  • Your own deck, we do not lend decks for Monday nights

Never played at a shop before?

You are in the right place. These are casual rounds, so there are no rankings and nothing is recorded, and the regulars are happy to help someone new find their feet.

You will need your own deck. If you do not have one yet, pop into the shop beforehand and we will help you get one sorted. Doors are from 6.30pm and rounds start at 7pm, so come early if you would like the extra time.

Questions

Do I need to know the rules already?

Enough to play a game, ideally. If you have watched a couple of videos or played the Lorcana app you will be fine. If you are starting from zero, come to the shop on a quieter afternoon first and we will teach you properly, then book a Monday.

How does the night run?

Nothing here is a surprise. If you have played at any shop before, it will feel familiar.

6.30pm, doors open.

7pm, first round. Pairings go up on the screen. Three or four rounds depending on numbers.

Which format do you play?

Core Constructed. Ravensburger rotates the four oldest sets out once a year, so older cards do drop out unless they have been reprinted. If you are not sure whether something in your deck is still legal, bring it in or message us and we will check before the night.

Which booster do I get?

Lorcana stock is hard to come by, so the set changes depending on what we have in. Every player gets one pack, whichever set it is that week.

How old do I need to be?

16 and over for Monday nights. Younger players are very welcome at Sunday Kids Club.

Can I move my ticket to another week?

Yes, with at least 48 hours notice. Message us with your order number and we will move you to any Monday that still has space.

Can I just turn up on the night?

Only if there is space, and with 16 seats there often is not. Booking ahead is the safe option.

Can I buy cards while I am here?

Yes, the shop is open while the event runs. Singles, sleeves and whatever sealed Lorcana we have in.
